Show NEWS ITEMS. CENTERFIELD 1 .f V Mr. and Mrs. Anderas Jensen and children came in from McGill, Nevada, to spend the 24th with relatives. Mr. Jensen is taking a two week's vacation vaca-tion and will spend the time in Gunnison Gunni-son Valley. Mrs. C. W. White and children, who spent three weeks visiting at fthe home of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Larsen, have returned to their home in Salt Lake. Mrs. Frank Harvey and children have returned to their Salt Lake home after spending several weeks here visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Oswell Beck. Mr. and Mrs. James Brierly and Irene and Erwin Brierly of Salt Lake City, are visiting friends in the valley val-ley this week. James Christensen and family of Elsinore, spent Monday here visiting with Mrs. Kjerstina Christensen. The visitors were just returning from a visit to friends at Manti. Mrs; M. T. Jennings of Nephi, is spending a week here visiting with her sisters, Mrs. Joseph Bardsley and Mrs. Chas. H. Embly. Mrs. James Tooth of Manti, spent a few days here visiting at the home of her son, Glen Tooth. Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Goats returned Sunday evening from Lehi. They were visiting with relatives there for a few days. Mr. Goates reports the beet crop in that particular section as being very poor. The splendid showers which started Sunday and which visited portions of the valley at intervals during the early part of the week, has resulted in much good and the beet crop is looking fine. , |
