Show Association Meet Highly Successful With boosting representatives from many towns between Salt Lake and St. George and with a spirit of enthusiasm enthu-siasm predominating on all sides, the annual meeting of the Scenic Highway High-way association proved one of the most successful the organization has ever held. The meeting was held at the Commercial Club rooms at Richfield Rich-field last Monday afternoon and the one big feature brought out was cooperation co-operation and a big boost for Utah east, west, north and south. Reports from the various officers were given at the meeting and all were highly gratifying. Particularly were the reports from the officers who are making a drive for new members to the Auto Club of Utah. It was shown that many had joined the club and that the prospects for getting hundreds of new members were very flattering. The organization organiza-tion recently effected for the membership mem-bership campaign will shortly make another report and at that time association as-sociation officers are confident the present membership will be more than doubled. The directors of the Scenic Highway High-way association, who served so faithfully faith-fully during the past year, were unanimously re-elected and the reports re-ports given of the administration was approved by a unanimous vote. The scope of the Scenic Highway association is to be enlarged very materially and to the end a meeting ; has been called to convene at SaiV., Lake at which time the matter of increasing the membership of the board of directors will be taken up. The highway which will come down through Sanpete and Sevier counties, has been christened the Bryce-Grand Canyon highway. It will cut off both at Thistle and Nephi. |
