Show Install Radio Outfits in Veteran's Hospitals All Veterans' Bureau hospitals are being equipped with radio outfits, according ac-cording to information received recently re-cently by rehabilitation officers of the American Legion from Director Frank T. Hines of the bureau. The Legion has been urging this step for some time. In 47 hospitals operated by the bureau bu-reau radio has been Installed or the equipment will be completed shortly. Experiments already made prove that the radio Is a highly valuable adjunct ad-junct to hospital equipment. It is without with-out doubt the most adaptable and popular pop-ular of recreational facilities now provided pro-vided for the disabled. The therapeutic thera-peutic qualities are considered to be as valuable as the recreational qualities. One important feature of this form of entertainment is that a patient may listen in or not as he himself feels Inclined. |
