Show ROUNDUP OFFERS PEPPY PROGRAM The Second Annual Salt Lake Frontier Fron-tier Roundup will stage a daily program pro-gram of surprises and thrills beginning begin-ning August 19, and ending on the 22nd. Every event that roundup experts ex-perts can devise by matching the mettle met-tle of untamed animals against the daring of riders and ropers will be seen at its best. Each of the four days will offer a spectacular card of "the following events: bucking horse contests, wild steer riding, calf roping, wild horse racing, Indian squaw racing, fancy and trick riding, fancy roping, cow pony racing, Indian pony racing, relay re-lay racing, cowboy racing, Indian travois racing and a mammoth roundup round-up parade. There will be numerous surprise novelties to entertain the crowds between be-tween the big scheduled acts and events. No one can foretell just what may happen at the frontier roundup, not even the manager himself. Incidental to the roundup program will be many other Salt Lake City attractions. The Portland and Salt Lake clubs of the Coast League will play a series during roundup week at Bonneville Park. Then there arc the attractions of the theaters, the Saltair and Lagoon resorts and alluring trips into any of Salt Lake's famous scenic canyons. |
