Show War Risk Policies for New Jersey Policemen When Joseph F. Deegan, service officer of-ficer of the American Legion connected connect-ed with the veterans' bureau office at Newark, N. J., heard that four policemen police-men in Raritan township had been refused insurance by old-line companies com-panies because of the "hazardous nature" na-ture" of their occupation he took steps by which the men r,re now adequately insured by the government.
