Show Girl Hi Students ' Organize New Club With a view to' promoting higher ideals of womanhood, etiquette in private and in public, personal hy- : giene and elevating moral standards, i a Girls' club, comprising faculty and I students of the Gunnison Valley high school has been organized and .. duly officered. The organization of the new club was perfected at an enthusiastic meeting held Thursday afternoon of last week, being supervised super-vised and engineered by the Misses Lundberg, Rawson and Churches, of the school faculty. Officers for the new organization were selected and are as follows: President, Ella Nelson; vice-president, Ruby Nelson; secretary-treasurer-reporter, Alta Norris. The various var-ious classes of the school will be -represented by, Mary Fjeldftpd, freshmen; Ruth Larsen, sophomores; Francella Hendrickson, junior; Au-leen Au-leen Olsen, senior. Four principals of standard have been outlined by the club, which aro intended to promote higher ideal?: .if womanhood, and these principals ar to be vigorously stressed in the teachings. The principals are (i) good dress; (2) etiquette, in public and in private; (3) hygiene in demonstrations dem-onstrations of care of hair,, skin and personal hygiene; (4)" moral standards stand-ards boys will conform to girl's I standards. With the announcement of the organization or-ganization of the new club, unusual interest is being shown and that the ; girls' club will prove a. success is ' evidenced by eagerness of many of the students to become members. . An appropriate name' is wanted for the club and a suitable prize is j to be given to the member suggesting the best title. Each member of the , club will suggest a name and Misses !
