Show Death Saddens Nielson Home The grim reaper carried sadness and sorrow to the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Nielson Tuesday, December Decem-ber 23, when Rex Warren Nielson, the year-old-son died following a week's i'.lness as the result of an attack at-tack of pneumonia. Instead of the joy and glee that come at Christmas time the Nielson home was hushed by the pallor of death that brings tea;" and sadness. Impressive funeral services ser-vices were held for Rex at the Relief society hall Thursday of last week. Services were conducted by Ernest L. Swalberg and appropriate music was given by a selected choir. Remarks and words of condolence for (lie grief stricken parents were feelingly spoken spok-en by Mr. Swalberg, John Larson and Lloyd Anderson. The little casket was hanked with a profusion of beautiful flowers. Mr. and Mrs. Nielson, though only residents of Gunnison, for a little more than a year, had hosts of warm friends who mourn with them in their hour of sorrow. The parents have gone to Price where they will reside. |
