George Jackson has been given his release by the Tyler club of the East Texas league, in order that he might manage the Greenville team of the same league. Donie Bush, manager of the Indian-apolis Indian-apolis team, boasts a pair of bespectacled bespec-tacled pitchers in the persons of Car-min Car-min Hill and Arthur Reynolds. The latter is a youngster. Louis Fonseca, Philly Infielder, has j accomplished the rare golfing feat of making a hole in one. Willie Kamra is the only other member of the ball-playing ball-playing fraternity to achieve this honor. The Seattle club of the Pacific Coast league has released Titcher Steve Chekaluk, a reputed Eskimo, who was carried last season. Steve's wildness could not be overcome.
