Show CELEBRATES ANNIVERSARY John E. Metcalf, principal of the Washington school, reached one of his birthday anniversieries last Saturday Sat-urday and to commemorate the event Mrs. Metcalf delightfully entertained sextcen guests at an elaborate dinner party, which was followed by mah-jongg. mah-jongg. The Metcalf home was tastefully taste-fully decorated, the Eeaster effect being be-ing carried out most cleverly by the use of jonquils and house plants. Placecards were of Eeaster designs and the effect was most pleasing. In the contest at mah-jongg honors went to Mrs. Ray B. Metcalf, Mrs. Neil Sorenson, Mrs. Edd Jensen and J. W. Jones. |
