Show GUNNISON LADIES" JOIN O. E. S. AT MT. PLEASANT Mrs. Ira Overfelt, Mrs. Ronald C. Norman, Mrs. J. A. Hagan, Mrs. Richard J. Parr and M:'rs. Howard W. Cherry, comprised a list of candidate candi-date from Gunnison that -were initiated initiat-ed into the mysteries of the Order of Eastern Star, Ivy Chapter .No. 10, at Mt. Pleasant Monday evening of this week. The ladies accompanied by their providers, motored to the Hub City Monday afternoon and the ceremonies attendant to the initiation initia-tion were held at the Masonic lodge rooms, beginning at nine o'clo ck. The official ceremony was conducted conduct-ed by state lodge officers, numbering some fifteen, who were in Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant from Salt Lake, Ogden, Bingham and other cities in the north for the especial occasion. Following the initiation a social hour was held, following which .an elaborate banquet was served r.to nearly 100. The banquet was give.i by the lady members of Ivy Chapter No. 10, and proved an elaborate affair. af-fair. Several musical numbers given by splendid talent, tended to make1 the ceremonial feature one of the most impressive held at Mt. Pleasant for some time. |
