Show Bayfield Farmer puffers Fire Loss! The 2-room farm house, together with seveual sheds and some six; y tons of hay, belonging to llytum Ohristensen of Mayfield, were des- j troyed by a fire of unknown origin ! Tuesday morning of this week. The ! property destroyed is located near! Nine Mile reservoir. The loss is es- j timated at close to .fo,000, and sufficient suf-ficient insurance was carried to cut -the loss to a degree where ill. will not be great. ' Just how the fire originated is unknown, un-known, as the place is unoccupied only during- the day time. The care taker of the farm of Mr. Christensen used the house only at lunch time and seldom had a fire. The workmen work-men were at the place Monday and as usual had their lunch. Early Tuesday morning Mr. Christensen and his farmer were enroute to the place and when near the home discovered dis-covered the building and hay stacks all ablaze. Hurrying to the scene they were helpless to save any of the buildings or the hay. as there is no wateir supply and the home, sheds and hay were consumed by the flames. |
