Show ELABORATE DINNER PARTY Mrs. William Voorhees was tlhe charming liostess at a birthday anniversary an-niversary dinner party at her home last Friday afternoon. The living rooms of the Voorhees home were gay with vases of garden roses of various colors and the effect was most pleasing. The main deversion for the afternoon was progressive "500", five tables being played. In the contest at cards high scoires were won by Mrs. J. Ben Roper and Mrs. Ira Overfelt. Mrs. Voorhees served her guests wdth a splendid hot chicken chick-en dinner, and was assisted by her daughter, Mrs. Ross Palmer. Out of town guests were Mrs. Frank Whit-lock, Whit-lock, Mrs. Oscar Nielson and Mrs. Peter Scow. Mrs. Voorhees received many beautiful gifts as a remembrance remem-brance of the occasion. |
