Show Capitol Reef Is Officially Opened Wayne Wonderland, where the Capitol Reef is located, and where gigantic statuary of colored stones stand out, where two mammoth natur al bridges makes one stand in awe and wonderment at the work of nature, na-ture, and where deep gorges cut into in-to mother earth, and where brooks sparkle down the mountain ravines, shaded by dense forests, is in a class to equal that found anywhere fin Utah and its fine scenic wonder to sell the public. This was the expression expres-sion of one of those from Gunnison who attended the formal dedication at the "rim" last Sunday. It is estimated es-timated that fully 1500 were present at the dedication exercises and the immense bowery built for the comfort com-fort of the visitors, was filled to capacity. ca-pacity. Eloquent addresses praising the wonderful scenery, and the spirit of the citizens to exploit their state's scenic wonderland, were made. A program of music by a band and a trip to the attractive points and a bounteous supply of refreshments supplied by the citizens of Wayne county, comprised the principal features fea-tures of the dedication. Several parties par-ties motored to Bicknell the Saturday Satur-day previous and were highly enter-tainel enter-tainel by a program of wild-horse riding and other stunts. At night a big dance was given and the Bicknell Bick-nell amusement hall was crowded to its capacity. The impression gained by the visiting vis-iting state and national officials was deep seated and it was stated at the dedication exercises that every eve-ry effort would be put forth to have the roads to the new park put in con-, 'dition so that it would increase the desire to visit the great wonderland.
