Show Mrs. Theron Picket was a visitor to friends and relatives at Provo Wednesday and Thursday of last week. - ; 1- 1 LOCAL ITEMS j OF INTEREST j 1- Mrs. W. J. Gribble left for Salt Lake today, having been called there cn account of the illness of her daughter, Miss Elia Gribble. L. R. Fournier, general superintendent, superin-tendent, and W. O. Cluff, salesman-ager salesman-ager for the Teliuride Power company, com-pany, were here from Richfield Tuesday. Tues-day. They were visiting the local offices and looking over the system here. Mr. and Mrs. Horace Kunz, of Los Angeles, were here for a couple of days this week, visiting with Dr. S. S. Kunz. The visitors were just returning re-turning fiom a trip to Idaho and other northern points and were en-route en-route to their home on the coast. Mrs. P. H. Jensen was hostess to members of the Royal Neighbors at her home Friday evening of last week. Hallowe'en colors were used in the home decorations. Progressive "500" proved the enjoyable feature and first prizes were won by Mrs. N. L. Hermansen and Mrs. Martin Peterson. The consolation was capture cap-ture 1 by Mrs. S. M. Duggins. Refreshments Re-freshments followed the card session. Mrs. S. F. Tipton, mother to Ira Overflt, is here this week visiting with her son. She was accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Ted Okelberry of Goshen. They came from the north Sunday and the Okelberrys returned home the same evening. Mr. and Mrs. Mart Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Peterson spent "Wednesday and Thursday of last week at the capitol city, combining business with pleasure. C. L. Despain, president of the Sanpete county farm bureau, attended attend-ed a meeting of the executive board of the organization at Ephraim Thursday of last week. A fine baby girl was born to Mr. ?nd Mrs. Oscar Peterson Sunday night. All are doing nicely at the Peterson home. Mrs. George Williams and son, Donald, Mrs. C. A. Folster and Miss Marie Gledhill, were motor car arrivals ar-rivals from Salt Lake Saturday. Mrs. Williams and son and Miss Gledhill returned north: hffer spending thel night at the Gledhill home.
