Show MUCH COLOR FOR MILADY "What a tantamount to a revolu- tion in the matter of styles that may be regarded as really fashionable in the wardrobes of mothers and daughters, daugh-ters, is taking place this Spring" said manager T. H. Gremsgard of the J. C. Penney Company store who returned last week from Salt Lake from the regional buying convention of the organization which has been in session for eight days. "Colors? Anything you can imagine ima-gine and then some more! Fashion experts have declared every color in the rainbow, and some that have never been detected there, to be stylish, sty-lish, but black must be laid aside. This applies to women's hosiery and other accessories as well as to her coats, dresses, and millinery. Some of the intriguing names given to the new colors are 'tiger eye', 'golin blue' 'desert sand', 'ashes of roses', 'Wigwam', 'Wig-wam', 'lipstick', golden oak', and the 'g'ingcrsnap.' -While the lid has been almost completely removed from the color scheme, skirts are limited in length only by the willingness of women wo-men to wear them and there are so many new furbelows in designing and trimming that a book would be necessary to describe them." |
