Show Gunnison Responds To Fourth Red Cross Call i Gunnison Boy Scouts, Aided By Patriotic Women, Enroll 125 Members In Great OrganizationTime Limited. Gunnison fell short almost one hundred members in the recent Red Cross Roll Call, and while the membership mem-bership of a year ago showed a little lit-tle more than 2 0 0, this year's enrollment en-rollment totalled only 12 5. The drive was successful, however, and considering the fact that only four days were allowed .after receiving the necessary paraphernalia, to effect tin organization and complele the drive. The patriotic ladies, aided by the Boy Scouts of Gunnison, were prime (actors in making the drive a success suc-cess and much credit is due the loyal ones in the work. Six teams, comprising two members mem-bers each, from the Gunnison Boy Scouts were organized Tuesday night, and in the two days remaining remain-ing of thedrive, the several teams were responsible for .sixty-one !of the memberships. Small prizes had been offered the Scouts for the largest larg-est number of members secured, and Virgil Christensen and Reams Ferre won first prize. This team secured 23 new members to the Red Cross. Isidore Brown and Marion Madsen won second prize, securing eighteen members. Others of the Boy Scout contestants were Darrell Erickson and Rulon Larson with a membership member-ship of eight; Waldo Villanl and Ba-line Ba-line Rosenvall, six members; Tom Madsen and Ruel Halverson, six members.
