Show REDL'CIM THE FORCE. Tit U. T, Company's Cutting Down Ki-l.e Ki-l.e lines liortcUon Brlgltnui. Telegraph Operator Hawk expects ex-pects to be transferred soon to some station in Idaho. This will cut down the force at the U. P. station at Brigham to two men, Agent E. 1 V. Dunn and his assistant, Nor- I man Lee. The work will be entirely en-tirely too much for two men. A station that carries on the immense business Brigham does, and which pays so many thousands of dollars each year into the coffers of the U. P. Company ought not to have its force slashed down to two men, who would thus be compelled to do the work of three. Every man let out takes so much money from the town. The business done at this station by Brigham's business men and citizens justifies an increase of its Brigham pay roll instead of a reduction. We trust the company will change its mind, but this is hardly likely. |
