Show Valuable Property May Be Involved Alleging that he owns a one-tenth undivided interest in all the property proper-ty on the west side of Main street in the city of Gunnison, from the Gunnison Gun-nison Co-op. to the Gunnison Valley bank corner, with a depth of 19S feet, George Robbins of Salt Lake City, through his attorneys, Irvine & Thurman, has instituted proceedings to quiet the title to the property above mentioned. The first of this week Depuly Sheriff J. C. Carlston served S. M. Duggins, Martin Peterson, Peter-son, Olc Peterson, Ben Roper and Ross Palmer with a summons, issued from the . Seventh judicial . district court, asking the defendants to appear ap-pear before the court in tho action Drought by Robbins. While as yet summons have not twen served on the rest of the properly prop-erly owners in the action brought by Rolibins, it is stated that everyone owning property from the. corner of the Co-op. to the Gunnison Valley bank will bo asked to appear and show the respective titles to the property prop-erty involved. In a letter addressed to those who have been served with tho summons it is stated that the respective owners own-ers are on (he records as owning the particular tract of land as described. The same records, according to the communication, also show that George Robbins is the owner of an undivided one-tenth interest, the interest in-terest having been acquired by the plaintiff on January 18, 1902, by decree de-cree of distribution in the matter of the estate of John G. Robbins, deceased. de-ceased. George Robbins has only recently re-cently attained his majority. The property involved in tho action ac-tion is valued at" approximately 1300,000, and not only will the plaintiff plain-tiff ask for the one-tenth undivided interest hut will ask for the recovery of his portion of Ihe profits accrued from rents to date. |
