Show NEWLYWEDS TENDERED SHOWER One of the prettiest affairs of the winter was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Erastus Olson Thursday evening of last week when a "miscellaneous" "mis-cellaneous" shower was given in honor hon-or of Frank Olson and his new bride. A large number of invited guests enjoyed a delightful evening and the bride and groom were the recipients of many beautiful gifts. The home decorations proved one of the real features and were decidedly de-cidedly clever A pink and white color scheme was carried out. The ceiling was draped with pink and white crepe paper in spider-web fashion fash-ion with the light for the -center. The light was covered with a crepe fringed fring-ed bell, and from it streamers of pink ribbon led to the "shower" basket, bas-ket, artistically made of willows and decorated with bouquets of roses and white carnations. An arch of pine bows and pink crepe paper, under which were a "kewpie' couple dressed dress-ed as bride and groom and before them the conventional wedding cake, also proved a clever attraction. At the banquet table were seated some twenty-five guests. Delicious refreshments refresh-ments were served and the newly-weds newly-weds were showered with best wishes and warm congratulations. Mr. and Mrs. Olson were married at Boze-man, Boze-man, Mont., December 12. Mrs. Olson Ol-son was formerly Miss Bertha Carol-us, Carol-us, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Carolus of Bozeman. Until a few years ago Mr. Olson was a resident I here having been born in Gunnison. He is well known and highly respected respect-ed by all who know him. After a brief visit here Mr. and Mrs. Olson will return to Bozeman where they will make their permanent home. |
