The weekly work meeting of ,ht Presbyterian Missionary society met at the chapel last Tuesday afternoon. In addition to the elder members o' .he organization being present, "The Light Bearers' Band," composed o; children, held an interesting session Refreshments were served by Mrs Walter Humphries and Miss Josh Curtis. The Vivo club held its first soeia gathering at the home of Miss La-Eaun La-Eaun Francis Monday evening. An afternoon of Progressive Progres-sive Five Hundred was enjoyed with Mrs. Ira Overfelt and Mrs. Frank Keyser victors for the honors. Mrs. Billingsley is the new Oracle for the Royal Neighbors, and as such was presented with a number of beautiful beauti-ful presents in remembrance of her birth. Some fifteen guests were present and a delicious lunch was served. Society ! Dr. and Mrs. J.'A. Hagan delightfully delight-fully entertained the Tuesday evening even-ing club at their home Tuesday evening even-ing of this week. In the contest for the laurels at Progressive Five Hundred, Hun-dred, at which twenty members participated, par-ticipated, Mrs. J. W. Jones captured the ladies' prize, while the gentleman's gentle-man's honor was awarded to Niel Sorenson. Mrs. Hagan served a delicious de-licious luncheon at 10 o'clock and was assisted by her sister, Miss Christy Madsen. Miss Lilly Johnson delightfully entertained en-tertained a number of her friends at an informal social at the home of her sister, Mrs. E. L. Swalberg, last Sunday evening. Several musical numbers, both vocal and instrumental, instrument-al, were features of the evening. Delicious De-licious refreshments were served and covers were laid for six. Mrs. Ellen Christensen was host-' ess at a social party at her home ) Monday evening, in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dowd who are visiting j here from Idaho Falls.
