Show Sugar Company Elects Officers At the regular annual stockholders stockhold-ers meeting of the Gunnison Valley Sugar company, held at Salt Lake City, Monday of this week, William Wiigley, Jr., the largest gum manufacturer manu-facturer in the world, operating plants at Chicago and Brooklyn, was re-elected to head the board of directors. di-rectors. Other members of the board chosen were J. A. Cox, treasurer treas-urer of the William Wrigley, Jr., company; W. Harvey Ross, II. T. Harris, Joshua Greenwood and Allen T. Sanford of Salt Lake, and I. D. Voorhees, of Manti. Complete reports of the company's operations were submitted at Monday's Mon-day's meeting, and among other matters mat-ters taken up was a resolution passed commending the William Wrigley, Jr., company, majority stockholders in the big factory, and the management manage-ment of the company in the hands of President Ross and Treasurer Harris. Har-ris. At a meeting of the directorate held Tuesday the following officers were chosen to serve the company for the ensuing year: president, Harvey Ross; vice-president, Joshua Greenwood; treasurer, R. T. Harris; secretary and assistant treasurer, Miss Lorena Holman. |
