Christensen ; were hosts to a number of friends at j a dinner party last Tuesday night, covers being laid for ten. Following i he dinner Progressive Five Hundred Hun-dred was played at which prizes were awarded. During the evening the I Misses Gladys and Grace Christensen I entertained the guests with vocal and instrumental music. The members of the Ladles' Aid, a branch of the Royal Neighbor society,, soci-ety,, together with a few Invited guests, were royally enteratined by Mrs. August Villard at her home last Monday afternoon. Progressiv Five Hundred was the pleasure diversion, and in the contest honors were awarded to Mrs. John Peterson and Mrs. J. A. Hagan. At 5 o'clock refreshments re-freshments were served. o Mr. and Mrs. Leo D. Bardsley delightfully de-lightfully entertained some ten ot their friends at cards Tuesday evening. eve-ning. After cards a social time was had and at 1 1 o'clock dainty refreshments refresh-ments were served by the hostess. The Indies of the Presbyterian Missionary society held the regular meeting at the chapel Wednesday afternoon of this week. The usual reading, together, with a social time, marked the ieatures of the meeting. At 5 o'clock refreshments Were served by Mrs. August Villard and Mrs. Herbert Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. June Metcalf were host and hostess at a well appointed dinner party Tuesday evening at 6 o'clock, in honor of-Miss Lucile Sorenson of Salt Lake. Besides the guest of honor ten others were present and following the dinner the guests attended the dance given by the ex-officers of the Gunnison Guard Mount, American Legion. |
