Show V LXCOML, It):.'! The year l!)2u Is last fading and v.iLh the dawning of tomorrow morning morn-ing the new year 1921 will bt iikhered In. While the year Just closing clos-ing has showered blessings of weaLli and happiness to the residents of the great Gunnison valley, the coming com-ing year promises even more. Never In the history of the valley have the farmers, merchants and all prospered an they have In the year gone by and this was made possible, principally princi-pally for the reason that the citizens awakened to the fact that greater Industries were needed and the sugar su-gar factory was erected. During the coming year and possibly for for years to follow, the example set during dur-ing the past, will be equalled and likely excelled. The citizens, too, have awakened to the fact that more people are needed to cultivate the vast acreage of farm lands. A movement move-ment has been started to bring home-Beekers home-Beekers here, and in this gigantic movement the same spirit that prevails pre-vails In communities thati are successful suc-cessful must predominate here. Already Al-ready the valley is being talked of as one of the "big attractions" in the state and soon -they will be headed this way. Let your program and one of your strongest resolutions for the New Year be "boost for a bigger and greater Gunnison valley first, last, und all the time." |
