Munk is spending the week at Manti and Salt Lake visiting with relatives and friends. Misses Margaret and Lillian Johnson and Miss Erma Lundeberg spent Chris-mas Chris-mas with relatives and friends at Mt. Pleasant. , Edward Stevens, merchant-farmer of Holden, was transacting business in the city yesterdav. He was accompanied by Mrs. Stevens and W. T. Stevens. Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Thomas returned to Salt Lake Monday after spending Christmas in Gunnison with Mrs. Thomas' parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Sorenson. Miss Jessie Peterson left for Salt Lake City last Saturday. Miss Peterson Peter-son will be the house guest of her sister, Mrs. L. G. Anderson for a week or ten days. Mr. and Mrs. Abe Reigert and Milton Reigert, were pasengers to Salt Lake Christmas day. They were guests of friends and relatives until yesterday, when they returned to Gunnison. Chris Jenison, the Axtell farmer, was the guest of relatives at Ephraim Christmas day. Frank Settle, the Ephraim auto salesman, was here the first of the week combining business with pleasure. Miss Minerva Anderson of Maroni, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Leo D. Bardsley. She will be here for an indefinite in-definite visit. Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Carr of Salt Lake are the house guest3 of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Sorenson. They will remain here for a week or ten days. The second boss of the News, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Cherry and Wesley Cherry, visited with relatives at Mt. Pleasant on Christmas day. Mr. and Mrs. Parley Christiansen, E. Christiansen of Gunnison, and Walter Walt-er Larson of Mayfield, spent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Christiansen at Nephi. Conrad Frisciknecht, principal of the Gunnison High School, left for Salt Lake City last Saturday to attend the twenty-fifth annual session of the Utah Educational association. He was accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Frischknecht. |
