Show "Kids" Fail To Annex New Title ' The argument is settled. The title of "first team", remains the-same as j when the season opened, aiid the "kids" will have to content, themselves them-selves with being known as the second sec-ond basketball team of Gunnison. This was settled last Tuesday night ' at the Centcrfield Opera House when the older boys accepted a defi from j the little fellows to determine which should sail' under the title of j first .team and the championship and laurels went a skipping to the "eld timers" with a score of 60 lo 39. For five minues and with a view to encouraging the "young bucks," the older team allowed much encourage-j mcnt, and for a time matters were evenly divided. Jus-t to show their prowess and to prove their superiority, superior-ity, the title winners "buckled" in and gave their students a real demonstration dem-onstration of the merits of the game. The "kids" melted under the science and were powerles :o stay the mad rush, try as they might. It was a good, fast' game, and those who witnessed the melee were well paid.
