Show New Ward Created In South Sanpete Gunnison and Gentcrficld ecclesiastical ecclesi-astical wards of the Mormon chin ch ' have been reduced in point of terri- j tory and the third ward, to be known I as Hamilton ward has been created. This action was taken at a recent; meeting held at the Gunnison Valley high school building by the church j members of this district. Arthur; Larson, member of the South San-' pete school board, has been chosen , as bishop of the new ward, Chas.j Embley, is first counsellor, Earl J.j Pickett, second counsellor and E. II. Bardsley was chosen clerk. Hamtilton ward includes that portion por-tion of the city south of Second street and to what is known as the Will Childs street in Centerfield. It extends as far north and includes Christenburg and embraces the territory terri-tory east of Sanpitch river in the .eastern part of the cty. The boundary line of what is known as the Gunnison Gunni-son ward starts at Second South street and includes all north to the northern city limits. The Centerfield ward will be the same as heretofore, excepting that portion which has been designated as the Hamilton ward. There has been no changes in the bishopric in the -Gunnison ward and Centerfield, however, new officers have been named. Charles S. Hansen Han-sen is the new bishop of that ward. Newman Beck is first counsellor, Sidney Sid-ney Fjeldsted, second counsellor, and Chauncey Funk, clerk. |
