Show Centerfield News ! (Special Correspondence. ) Centerfield, Oct. 27. The Gunnison Gunni-son Valley Sugar factory has suspended sus-pended the receiving of beets for a few days, owing to the fact that there is an oversuppiy and the vast 'accumulation of 'beets may cause heating and the action is taken to prevent any danger of spoilage. The following persons have been chosen by the city council to serve as judges of election at the city election on November 8: Marlin Sorenson, Alva E. Anderson and Leo Beck. The alternates named are Jas. C. Nielsen and Frank Allred. Ronald Bardsley, sou of E. H. Bardsley, suffered a severe injury last Saturday morning when he attempted at-tempted to crank a Ford car. In some manner tho crank was thrown violently and struck the young man's wrist of the right arm, breaking both bones. Dr. Hagan attended the injured in-jured man, and while the break is painful there is every hope that the injury will eventually cure. Mrs. Christina Uogh, one of the oldest inhabitants of Cenlerlicld. was! the boncred guest hist week at an anniversary an-niversary parly. A' bountiful supply of dainties was brought by Die guests, and a most delightful time was enjoyed by all. Mrs. 1'ogli was presented with a numlrr of presents.
