Show OLD RESIDENTS HONORED Two of the oldest Relief society teachers of the Gunnison ward were honored Tuesday afternoon when a special meeting for the occasion was given by the organization at the Relief Re-lief society hall. Mrs. William Bardsley Bards-ley and Mrs. J. J. Pickett were the honor guests. A special Mother's Day program had l.een arranged for the occasion, and this, together with a social time and a splendid lunch, made the meeting a great success. ' Address on the "Privileges of Moth- erhood" were given by Mrs. Arthur Larson and Mrs. E. L. Swalberg. Mrs. J. E. Stubbs retd a poem which was well received and the solos by Mesdames Ernest 'Halverson and June Metcalf were warmly applauded. applaud-ed. Rea Ferre gave a recitation which was followed by lunch. An unusually large crowd was present and thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment enter-tainment given in honor of Mrs. Bardsley and Mrs. Pickett. |
