Show Centerfield News Centerfield is experiencing some extremely cold weather and on several sev-eral occasions the mercury has reached IS below zero. Chas. Embley is progressing nicely as enumerator in district No. 9 9. On account of the town cf Centerfield being composed mostly of farmers and farm managers, the task is somewhat some-what tedious on account of the exhaustive ex-haustive list of questions. A dinner party was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Tree j last Friday evening. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Jensen. 1 Misses Aroha Embley, Minerva Jen sen, Harriett Farnsworth, Messrs. I Gilbert Fjeldsted and David Gotterd-sen. Gotterd-sen. The evening was spent in card playing and those present had a most enjoyabl9 time. The Centerfield basket brill team has been far in tho lead this season with the contests they have entered The last game played was with the team from Cue Snow Normal CoTTtj-of CoTTtj-of Ephraim with a score of 24 to 61 in favor of Centerfield. Who will be next? Junius Embley, who recently met with an accident, by an exploding lamp and which incapacitated him from work for some time, has returned re-turned home from Cornish, Utah. Mr. Embley has been with the Cache Sugar company during the past season. |
