Show CHILDS-FRANCIS WEDDING One of the social events of the week in Gunnison society was the marriage of William B'. Childs and Miss Clara La Faun Francis. The. young couple motored to Manti Wednesday Wed-nesday and in the presence of P. P. Childs and Miss Roberta Childs, father and sister to the bridegroom, Bishop Peterson performed the cere-uony. cere-uony. Immediately following the carriage Mr. and Mrs. Childs relumed re-lumed to Gunnison where an informal inform-al reception was tendered the happy twain. Wednesday evening a wedding wed-ding supper was given the newly-weds newly-weds at the Childs home by the Misses Audie and Roberta Childs. A splendid banquet was served to just a few of the most intimate friends and relatives of the bride and groom. Mrs. Childs is the daughter daugh-ter of Mr., and Mrs. George Francis and is prominent among the younger .set in social circles. Mr. Childs, son of Parley P. Childs, is a native son of Gunnison. He is employed at the Francis barber shop. Mr. and Mrs. Childs have many friends here :ind all will join in wishing them happiness and prosperity. They will make their home in Gunnison. |
