The av.erage yield of surplus honey In 11)19 was 00 pounds to a colony of honey bees, as estimated by the bureau bu-reau of crop estimates, United States department of agriculture. This is considerably con-siderably above average of 45 pounds in 1918, nnd of 41 G-10 pounds for the live years 1913-1917. The relatne proportions pro-portions In which the honey of the last two years was marketed are Indicated Indi-cated by 59 for extracted honey, 31 for comb honey nnd 10 for bulk honey. About one-third of the product goes to "outside" markets. |
