Show MAKES BIG STRIKE. James Hill, veteran prospector and for many years mail carrier between Fayette and Gunnison, is highly elated elat-ed over a new discovery ,he has just recently made. Mr. Hill has been prospecting in the mountains in the Nebo mining district and lately he uncovered a 10-foot vein of graphite. The graphite is in the chloride form and experts who have examined the mineral declare it to be of the high grade quality. In the preliminary work done the vein has been uncovered uncov-ered for some distance and it is now possible to begin shipments on a big scale. There are but few mines of C'raphite yet discovered in the state and Mr. Hill is confident he has uncovered un-covered a bonanza. |
