Show New Feature For Casino Theatre Friday, September 8, will mark the opening date for the Inland Empire vaudeville at the Casino theater in Gunnison. The three acts of big time vaudeville and the regular picture program gives the assurance to the patrons of the Casino something out of the ordinary. Manager Duggins, determined to give the best he can, is to make the vaudeville performances perform-ances once each week and with the Inland Empire furnishing the numbers num-bers direct from the larger centers something clever can be looked for. There will be an entire change each week, both in vaudeville and the pictures. pic-tures. Starting the opening performance will find Bellmont & Partner in a very unique act which they term "Three Feet of Comedy." The Bellmonts are artists in their respective line and they never fail to delight the young as well as the old. Sencond on the vaudeville numbed will be the Yendys, a Chinese comedy-novelty comedy-novelty act. This act, according to press reports, has just fiuished a long engagement on one of the largest vaudeville circuits and is a riot'of fun, bringing mirth and glee wherever it has been played. Goodhue and Oliver, a versatile team, consisting of two young performers per-formers who present their offering in a special set of scenery. This act is full of new surprises, and throughout through-out one will hear some of the latest songs, clever banjo playing and a very good Swedish impersonation given by Miss Oliver. In addition to the clever vaudeville acts Manager Duggins is going to give some extraordinary pictures and taken altogether the outlook for extra good shows for the coming winter is better than ever before. |
