Show Popular Educators ' United In Marriage Miss Lois Myrup, daughter of Mr. ami Mrs. N. C. Myrup of this city, ami Stanley R. Amk'rsoii of Ephraim wo tv united in marriage last Friday. Tlie ceremony was performed at the Salt Lake temple. Following the ceremony the. newlyweds motored to Gunnison and were tendered an informal in-formal reception, just the immediate members of the Myrup family and close relatives being present. Mrs. Anderson is u native of this city and is one of the foremost educators edu-cators of the younger set here. She graduated from the schools of Gunnison Gun-nison ami attended the high school here for three years. When her family removed to Green River, Utah, she completed her high school work there, graduating with high honors. Later she entered the B. Y. U. at Provo, completing her course and qualifying for teaching. Mrs. Anderson An-derson has accepted a position as instructor in-structor in the Washington public 'school for the coming term. Mr. Anderson is also a well known educator. After finishing his lower grade work he attended the Agricultural Agricul-tural college at Logan and won distinction dis-tinction in his studies. He is well and popularly known in Southern Utah both in school work and in business circles. Mr. Anderson will teach school in Park City, having been assigned a department in the high school at the mining town. Mr. and Mrs. Anderson have hosts of warm friends in Gunnison and throughout the state and all will join in wishing them happiness and prosperity. |
