Mrtcalf were! host and hostess to the members of the Tuesday Evening club at their home last Saturday night at the regular reg-ular weekly meeting. In the contest : for honors at progressive five hun-j dred honors went to Mrs. June Met-calf Met-calf and Dr. J. A. Hagan. At 10 o'clock a delicious lunch was served by" the hostess. Miss Melba Metcalf assisted her mother at serving. o Mr. and Mrs.- Rulon K. Madsen were host and hostess at a family dinner party at their country home Tuesday afternoon of this week, the affair being given in honor of Mrs. Madsen's anniversary. A big dinner was served at 4 o'clock and covers were laid for twety-flve. The Bonne Poi club members were the guests -at the home of Mrs. Eva Jensen yesterday afternoon. It was the postponed meeting held over from last week and those present enjoyed en-joyed a splendid time at needlecraft. Mrs. Ira Overfelt gave an interesting reading, following which the hostess served refreshments. ' A regular business meeting of the Royal Neighbor lodge was held at the home of Mrs. Ellen Holheins Tuesday Tues-day night of this week. The feature oT the meeting was the initiation of three new members into the mysteries mys-teries of the organization those taking tak-ing the first degree Taeing Mrs. J. P. C. Norman, Mrs. Caroline , Peterson and Mrs. Ellis Hofheins. Following the initiatory ceremonies a lunch and social time were enjoyed by the members. o On Wednesday night of this week Dr. and Mrs. J. A.
