Show POPULAR GIRL MARRIED A wedding of unusual interest and in which one of the younger social so-cial set of Centerfield was one of the principles, was solemnized at Manti last Saturday, when Miss Alta Chris-tensen, Chris-tensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Christensen, and Charles Lay of Magna, were united in marriage. The wedding ceremony was a quiet affair, only immediate relatives of the two families being present. An elaborate elab-orate wedding reception and supper, however, given at the home of the bride's parents Saturday evening, proved an enjoyable event. Many guests were present and at the supper sup-per fifty-six plates were laid and king joy reigned supreme until the wee sma' hours of Sunday morning. The bride was groomed in a handsome hand-some dress of satin charmeuse, trimmed trim-med in gold braid and flowered linen lace. The groom is employed at Magna where he hold a responsible position with the smelter company and the first of the week the newly-weds newly-weds left for their home, carrying with them the best wishes of hosts of warm friends. At the wedding reception, re-ception, Mr. and Mrs. Lay received many beautiful and useful wedding presents. |
