Show Fayette Resident Dies of Injuries J. W. Hill, a life long resident of Fayette, and well and favorably known throughout the county, died at his home in Fayette lust Tuesday morning at 2 o'clock. . The direct cause of Mr. Hill's death is ascribed to a kick he received from a horse some three weeks ago, which resulted re-sulted in breaking several bones in ;he face. Mr. Kill was riding his horse and in some manner was thrown and kicked and rendered unconscious un-conscious and when he regained his senses he could not tell how the accident ac-cident befell him. He managed to get home, however, and when Dr. IHagan was called, the examination revealed a broken cheek bone, a broken brok-en nose and a fractured jaw bone. Mr. Hill was recovering from his injuries uad was able to be up and about only last Friday he visited in Gunnison Friday evoning ht was stricken and became unconscious and remained so until the time of his death. Mr. Hill was the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Hill. He was about 4G years old. He was born at Dover and practically all of his life was spent in this valley. He was married mar-ried and besides his wife he leaves five children, Mrs. Bonne Mellor. Barbara and Elano and Chester and Arton Hill. The deceased also leaves six brothers and three sisters, ull of jwhom are living, besides the father and mother. Impressive funeral services were held at Fayette yesterday afternoon, burial taking place at the Fayetto cemetery. K |
