Justice John Nye of Call's Fort has a long estray notice in this issue. Considerable hay is being moved on sleighs from place to place. The demand seems to be increasing as mid-winter approaches. One-third of winter has passed. Some one got hold of the town clock cord Thursday at midnight, ringing out the old year and ringing ring-ing in the new. At first the ringing ring-ing was taken for a fire alarm. |
