Show College Exercises Most Elaborate At the fifty-fourth annual commencement com-mencement to be held at the University Univer-sity of Utah on Tuesday, June 5th, the largest class in the history of the University will be graduated. According Ac-cording to figures given out by the President's office three hundred and eighty-six students have filed application ap-plication for graduation. Dr. Walter Ernest Clark, President Presi-dent of the University of Nevada, and a graduate of the Ohio Wesley-an Wesley-an University will deliver the commencement com-mencement address of June 5th. The Baccalaureate services will be held in the University gymnasium on the afternoon of Sunday, June 3rd. The Reverend George E. Davies, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Salt City, will deliver the sermon at the Baccalaureate services. serv-ices. Monday, June 4, will be Alumni t Day. The twenty-fifth anniversary exercises of the class of 1S98 will be held at 10:30 A. M., in the faculty room of the John R. Park building. In the evening at 8:00 the decennial reunion of the class of 1913 will be held in the faculty room. During the afternoon from 3 to 6 o'clock, a reception re-ception of all Alumni and friends of the University will be given by President George Thomas at his home. The annual alumni business meeting, meet-ing, banquet, reception, and ball in honor of the graduating class will be held Tuesday evening at the Hotel Ho-tel Utah. According to a new ruling rul-ing of the Alumni Association all former students of the University are members of the Association and are invited tq attend these functions. |
