Show Honor Badges For Claimants The marine corps recruiting station, sta-tion, Salt Lake City, is in receipt of tne Victory medal, -with clasps, bronze and silver stars and Maltese cross, for all officers and enlisted men who served honorably in the Juarine corps between April 6, 1917, and November 11, 1918, according to advices just received at this of-' ,fice. Officers and men of the navy medical medi-cal corps who served with marine organizations or-ganizations in France and who are not entitled to the battle clasp or star, will be issued the Maltese cross upon submitting their application thereof. The Victory medal will be sent to the next of kin of all deceased marines- who served honorably dusing the world war, by the adjutant inspector, in-spector, U. S. marine corps, Washington, Wash-ington, D. C, direct; it will not be ncressarv that the application for tho medal be made, inasmuch as the same will be sent to the next ot kinas shown by oilicial records at Washington. It will lie necessary for all persons to submit their discharge certificates or other evidence showing that they are entitled to the medal and that pioper notation be placed thereon. |
