If there i3 anything worth while in your town it is ten chances to one that the home paper had a hand in making it what it is. If there exists any unsightly or un-navory un-navory nuisance, twenty chances to one it will stay there until your editor cither sees it or smells it and wipes his pen on the town board's breeches. If anybody beyond the corporate limjts of your town ever learns that there is such a place, it will in most instances be through the medium of your home town paper. Every town gets its money's wortli from its home newspaper. For the newspaper is the wagon that carries all your floods to market. It ought to be kept in good repair. It will pay to grease it with a little subscription money, oil it with advertising antl shelter it with your job printing patronage.
