Show PROMINENT COUPLE MARRIED The home of Mr. and Mrs. James Bown was the scene of a pretty wed- ding last Saturday night when How- j ard Norman and Miss Vera Bown j were united in the holy bonds of i matrimony. The ceremony wes per- j formed by Bishop E. L. Swalberg j shortly after five o'clock Saturday and only the immediae members of the family were present. Immediately Immediate-ly following the cremony some fifty guests assembled and enjoyed an elaborate wedding supper. During the evening games and music were enjoyed and the newlywcds were showered with congratulations. White and pink were the home and table 'decorations. The bride is the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. James Bown and is a leader in the younger social set. Mr. Norman, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. C. Norman, former residents, is employed at the Hermansen Roller Mills, and is also well and favorably known here. Mr. and Mrs. Norman will make their permanent home in Gunnison. |
