Fisher, the democratic demo-cratic candidate for sheriff, beat Sanderson in Gunnison, the vote being be-ing 271 for Fisher as against 158 for Sanderson. Meyriek, republican candidate can-didate for commissioner, run well ahead of Seeley here. Meyriek 1 received re-ceived 223 votes while the successful candidate was given 191. At Centerficld and Axtcll the democratic dem-ocratic ticket was strongly supported while Fayette lined up with the republicans. re-publicans. Mayfield also gave the republican candidates strong support. sup-port. Colton and Leatherwood, republican candidates for Congress from the first and second sec-ond districts, are elected, with majorities ma-jorities ranging from 1000 to 1500. Cherry, for supreme judge, leads the republican ticket and his majority over Corfman, democratic nominee, will run from 3000 to 6000. In Sanpete county the entire republican re-publican ticket, with the exception of 4-year term commissioner, is elected and the majorities run from 800 to 1200. Sanderson, republican candidate candi-date for sheriff, run low on his ticket, his majority over Fisher being less than 300.
