With a gold supply inadequate to back up the currency of many countries, it seems as if silver, the next precious metal to gold, offers the logical foundation for stabilizing the monetary systems of the world. . If the price of gold can be set so that it has a uniform value, why cannot the price of silver be set in the same manner? This question is of great interest to western mines and the subject sub-ject is well worth most serious consideration. i . |
