Show Refuses Patents Return New York. The Chemical Foundation, Founda-tion, Inc., has declined to comply with the request of Alien Property Custodian Custo-dian Thomas W. Miller that it return to the government the patents, trademarks trade-marks and copyrights assigned to the company, a letter written by Francis P. Garvan, president of the foundation, founda-tion, mnde public, discloses. Another Anoth-er letter, from Mr. Garvan to President Presi-dent Harding, avers that the information informa-tion given the president about the case "has been furnished by Germnn agents to on ex-German spy and Interpreted In-terpreted by lawyers whose sole knowledge of the war and its lessons Is derived from association with German Ger-man clients." The president Is urgwd by Mr. Garvan to seek "other counsel," the letter declaring that he has been "groosly misled by the attorney general gen-eral both as to the law and the facts of the case." |
