Show if ifl ! . f" V "f" , LOCAL ITEMS OF f INTEREST. The Boy Scouts of Gunnison will meet in regular session at the City hall tonight at 7:30. Routine business busi-ness matters will betaken up and it is requested that all members be present. Blaine Olsen, who has been acting as nightwatchman, has tendered his resignation and yesterday he left for McGill, Nevada. Blaine will accept a position with one of the mining companies at McGill. Mrs. M. L. Mansfield of Gunnison has just returned home from Salt Lake with her little daughter Ber-nice, Ber-nice, who has been operated on for appndicitis. The. little girl is getting along fine. Mrs. Kay Metcalf delightfully entertained en-tertained the members of the O. N. 0. club at her home Monday evening of this week. Needlecralft and a social time were enjoyed until ten thirty when dainty refreshments were served by the hostess. Mr. and Mrs. I. S. Brown of Spring-ville, Spring-ville, came in from the north last Friday and remained over until Monday Mon-day as the guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Metcalf. They were called here on account of the illness of Mr. Metcalf, father to Mrs. Brown. Mrs. Earl Christensen of Center-field Center-field entertained twelve little friends Tuesday afternoon complimentary to her daughter, Louise, it being the latter's sixth birthday anniversary. Following a few hours at games and a general good time, dainty refreshments refresh-ments were served. |
