Show Mayfield Doings. (Special Correspondence.) Mayfield, Feb. 2. Mrs. E. C. Scow and Mrs. Ed. Ofery enter-entertained enter-entertained at an ice cream party last Wednesday evening. Fifteen guests were present and all enjoyed a good time. Ice cream and other dainties were served at a-Tate hour. Miss Hazel and Milton Christiansen Christian-sen delightfully entertained some twenty of their friends Sunday evening eve-ning in honor of their' birthday anniversaries. an-niversaries. Games and card playing play-ing were the main features of the evening. Dainty refreshments were served at 11 o'clock. The Social Circle club met at the home of Mrs. Frank Pennison last Thursday evening. Ncedlecral't was the feature of the evening. The hostess served lunch at a late hour. Miss Grace Clayton has returned from the Salina hospital where she has been confined for a number of weeks. Miss Clayton is now enjoying enjoy-ing good health. Mr. Ray Voorhees. or Gunnison, spent a few days of hist week with relatives and friends. Elwood Andersou. is. now up and about. He is feeling fine and enjoys en-joys to lie among his friends again. Hinningson of MHiiti, last Tuesday evening) Mrs. Hinningson enjoyed her H7th birthday birth-day aud is in good health. |
