Republican members of the house ways and means committee have decided de-cided to seek an interview with Presi- I dent-elect Harding soon after his in- I HUguratlon. Some eommittee'members do not believe be-lieve it wise in view of the difficulties difficul-ties which have attended the Fordney emergency tariff to attempt the enactment enact-ment of a second temporary measure, ivhich Mr. Fordney has proposed as a stop-gap tariff law.
