Gates, formerly Miss Dolores Soren-son Soren-son of this city, died at the Salina hospital hos-pital last Sunday, after suffering briefly, but' severely from rheumatic fever. The young couple was married at Manti, September 10, 1918, and during dur-ing the married life had been very devoted. de-voted. Mrs. Gates has a host of warm friends here who grieve with her in her time of sorrow. Trof. Albert Tollcstrup, instructor in music in the schools of Gunnison, is pla'nning for a pupils' recital on May 20. It is proposed to have violin, vio-lin, piano, band and orchestra music and choruses and the classes, from trie High school and grade schools will take part. Prof. Tolleslrun will remain in Gunnison for the summer and will continue his classes class-es in music. Local and Personal W. L. Peterson, the merchant tailor, tail-or, spent last Sunday with his wife and children at Manti. Mr.' Peterson Peter-son expects to remove his family to Gunnison some time next week, occupying oc-cupying one of the cottages just Wiliard Willardson, the Mayfiel.l stockman, was in Gunnison for a few hours Wednesday.
