Show AXTELL B. F. Goold, inspector of beets for the Utah Sugar company was here to overlook the acreage planted this year and was well pleased with the promising promis-ing outlook of the crop. Mr. Goold promises for the company, that should 500 acres be planted next season a dumping station will be erected at The Grove, at present a flag station about two miles north of Axtell.- An expenditure of about $1,500 will be required to build it. He inspected our beuch lands and is of the opinion that it. is nicely adapted for sugar beet raising. Eeport has roached Astell that Soren C. Sorenson , better known a-s Soren Biteman , formerly of iia place has met death by drowning. His many friends in this locality who knew him so faioiliary before removing re-moving to Garland will recurve this news with deep regret! W.
